and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the
Alice Springs Town Camps, urban Alice Springs, and Central Australia.
The Tangentyere Council Youth, Family & Community Safety
(YFCS) Division delivers a range of services across Town Camps and Alice
Springs, supporting children, young people, families, and communities through daytime
and after-hours services focused on recreation, diversion, out of home care,
community safety, and family support programs.
The Youth Employment Pathways (YEP) program is for young
people aged 15–25 living in Alice Springs Town Camps. The program supports

reliable school transportation for young people living in Town Camps to improve
school attendance and support family routines. This role is responsible for
delivering culturally appropriate and responsive transport services, working
closely with YFCS & the Community Centre Division to assist with morning

day and provide transportation to school.
To ensure strong community engagement and service
reliability, the Transport Officer must hold a valid NT Driver’s License and
possess a lived connection or deep family ties to the specific Town Camp they
service.
