About the Position
As an emerging accounting professional that is looking to gain experience with a growing mining company, this is an excellent opportunity for you to obtain broad exposure across all accounting functions and be part of Terra Mining’s continuing growth.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accountant will work Monday to Friday in our head office in West Perth. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Cash flow management and reporting
• Monthly journals
• Monthly management reporting
• Assist with compliance obligations and reconciliations
• Contribute to process improvements and financial controls
• Communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers
What You Will Bring to Terra Mining
• Degree in Accounting, or currently working towards this
• Proficiency in Xero accounting system (preferred) and related accounting applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong MS Excel experience
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive attitude and enjoying working in a dynamic team
You must have full Australian working rights and be able to provide a current National Police Clearance (within last 12 months).
