***IMMEDIATE START ***

We are seeking a dedicated support workers to provide support to our Child Safety clients residing on the Sunshine Coast. This role requires individuals who can navigate challenging behaviours such as verbal and physical aggression whilst encouraging independence and growth.

Must have experience working with a range of disabilities such as but not limited to, ASD, ADHD, ODD, Self Harm, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Bipolar, Intellectual Impairment, Youth/Child Safety and extreme Verbal & Physical Aggression.

What you’ll do: ✔️ Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance and client transport ✔️Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques (Restrictive Practices) ✔️ Provide direct support in a 2:1 & 1:1 capacity in accordance with the individual’s care plan & PBSP ✔️ Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports ✔️ Follow company policies and procedures

✨Rܾ𳾱Գٲ:✨ – Valid Driver’s Licence – Access to acomprehensive insuredcar with 5 seats – NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You – NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment – Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment – Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) – Previous experience in supporting individuals with complex needs, preferably in a youth and child safety context. – MUSTbe able to work the following time frames:6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 2pm-6am (sleepover), 10pm-6am awake/active shift. Must also be available for aminimumof 4 days per week on an ongoing basis.

In addition to supporting these clients, we have multiple Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes on the Sunshine Coast requiring dedicated teams. Ideally, candidates will possess the flexibility to work across various teams.
