We are seeking a compassionate Female Disability Support Worker to provide assistance and care to an individual with a disability in Wagga Wagga that needs assistance with personal care and daily living.
The RoleÌý
- Shift Structure: 5 hours per week – Tuesday 09:30am-11:30am, Wednesday 11:15-2:15pm.
- Environment:ÌýPersonal care/ Daily living support
- Type: This could be a casual role or as a contractor.
- Rate: L2 P1 – $45.28 Cert 3 in individual supports or community serviceÌý
- L2 P2 – $46.70 Cert 4 or higher in individual supports or community serviceÌý
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to our client, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in disability support.
- Personal care and physically fit to perform manual handling where required.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a support worker role or similar position.
