Therapy Care is excited to announce the launch of our new Home Care service in Western Sydney.ÌýWe are seeking motivated, independent Gardening Contractors to join our growing team.Ìý
The work is projected to start within the next 7 weeks.ÌýIn order toÌýensure we are prepared andÌýall ofÌýthe correct compliance documents have been obtained we would like to get a team together within the regions we serve,ÌýLower Blue Mountains, Penrith, Hills, Blacktown and at timesÌýMerrylands.Ìý
In this role, you will provide essential outdoor maintenance support for our NDISÌýparticipants, ensuring they live in safe, functional, and well-maintained environments. Your ResponsibilitiesÌý
- General Maintenance: Lawn mowing, edging, weeding,ÌýpruningÌýand pressure washing.Ìý
- Safety & Access: Ensuring pathways areÌýclear,Ìýand branches are trimmed to keep homes accessible and hazard-free.Ìý
- Self-Management:ÌýUse our online system to manage your schedule and tasks seamlessly.Ìý
- Professionalism:ÌýRepresent Therapy Care with a high standard of workmanship and a positive, respectful attitude.Ìý
- Great communication,Ìýempathy,Ìýand understanding for participants living with disabilities.Ìý
RequirementsÌý
- Tools & Transport:ÌýYou must have your own reliable transport and all necessary professional gardening equipment/tools.Ìý
- Current Driver’s License.Ìý
- NDISÌýPaidÌýWorker ScreeningÌýCheck.Ìý
- Working with ChildrenÌýEmployee PaidÌýCheck.Ìý
- Valid ABN and relevant Insurance (Public Liability).Ìý
- Physical Fitness:ÌýAbility to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions.Ìý
- Soft Skills:ÌýYou understand you are working in someone’s private home; you treat every participant with dignity, arrive on time, and communicate clearly.Ìý
Highly RegardedÌý
- PreviousÌýprofessional gardening or landscaping experience.Ìý
- Certificate II or III in Horticulture.Ìý
- Current White Card.Ìý
