Description

About the roleÌý

Our customers are aged care and disability providers dealing with genuinely messy, high-stakes problems: rostering, compliance, funding, care delivery. Your job is to turn thatÌýcomplexityÌýintoÌýsimple, well definedÌýproductÌýoutcomesÌýthat Engineering canÌýactuallyÌýbuildÌýand customersÌýactually want.Ìý

ThisÌýisn’tÌýa “roadmap is locked and everything is defined” role.ÌýIt’sÌýfor someone who likes rolling up their sleeves, creating clarity where itÌýdoesn’tÌýyet exist, and helping teams move forward.ÌýYou’llÌýspend as muchÌýtime framingÌýan ambiguous problem as you will making the trade-off calls that get it shipped.ÌýÌýYou’llÌýwork directly with the Head of ProductÌýandÌýlead customer research and solution validation, make the UX calls, and work with Engineering to get from problem to shippedÌýproduct. If you want a title without the trade-off decisions and the follow-through, thisÌýisn’tÌýit. If you want to own outcomes end to end and see your work land in front of providers withÌýreal challenges, this is it.Ìý

AboutÌýVisualcareÌý

We build software for providers across the NDIS and aged care sectors, supporting some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Every feature you scope, every trade-off you make, shows up in how a care worker’s dayÌýactually runs.Ìý

We’reÌýa close-knit Australian SaaS team of around 40 people.ÌýWe’reÌýgrowing, andÌýwe’reÌýupfront thatÌýwe’reÌýstill building out some of our product processes as we go. If you like a mature, fully bedded-in product org with nothing left to fix, thisÌýprobably isn’tÌýthe place. If you want to help shape how productÌýactually getsÌýdone here, it is.Ìý

About the teamÌý

Work that matters. Trust to own it. Space to grow. We try to run the team that way, not just say it.Ìý

You’llÌýget real autonomy over how you scope and sequence your work, and a manager who knows whatÌýyou’reÌýworking on and backs your calls. Product, Engineering and Customer teams here pull together rather than throwing requirements over a wall, and we care about the outcome you deliver, not how many hours it took to get there.Ìý

WhatÌýyou’llÌýbe doingÌý

  • Lead discovery directly with customers and internal teams, testing concepts with users and turningÌýambiguousÌýproblems into clear problem statements, JTBD and success criteriaÌý
  • Own PRDs and be the primary decision maker on scope,ÌýsequencingÌýand trade-offs so Engineering can move with confidenceÌý
  • Work dayÌýto day with Engineering through delivery, including on UX and interface decisions, and coordinate with Marketing,ÌýSalesÌýand Customer Success for release readinessÌý
  • Track adoption and customer outcomes after release, and feed what you learn back into the roadmapÌý
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and run prioritisation workshops using tools like Now-Next-LaterÌý

WhatÌýwe’reÌýlooking forÌý

  • 3+ years in Product Management, ideally in SaaS or healthcare technologyÌý
  • Strong problem-solving skills, and the judgement to balance discovery with delivery rather than getting stuck in eitherÌý
  • A track recordÌýof turning ambiguous customer and business needs into scope thatÌýactually shipsÌý
  • Comfort managing competing stakeholder priorities and making the call when they conflictÌý
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering,ÌýSalesÌýand Customer SuccessÌý
  • A strong senseÌýof ownership through to release, not just through to handoverÌý
  • Comfort working with data and customer insights to inform decisionsÌý
  • Familiarity with NDIS Practice Standards or Aged Care legislation is a bonus, not a requirementÌý

Don’tÌýtick every box above? Apply anyway if the role excites you.ÌýWe’dÌýrather meet someone sharp and curious than wait for a perfect resume.Ìý

WhyÌýyou’llÌýlove it hereÌý

  • Trust to work from (almost) anywhere in Australia.ÌýEast coast or Adelaide, we care about the work you do, not which deskÌýyou’reÌýsitting at.Ìý
  • Space to grow.ÌýYou’llÌýhelp shape how product works here, not just execute a process someone else built.Ìý
  • Work that matters.ÌýWhat you scope and ship supports providers looking after some of the most vulnerable people in our community.Ìý
  • A manager who backs you.ÌýReal ownership over your scope and your calls, with someone who knows whatÌýyou’reÌýworking on and has your back.Ìý

If that sounds like your kind of product role,Ìýwe’dÌýlove to hear from you.Ìý
