Description

Position Summary

The Testing & Compliance Technician is responsible for conducting waterproofing inspections and testing in accordance with Australian Standards, including AS3740 and AS4654. The role ensures accurate testing, reporting, and documentation of waterproofing applications while providing practical remediation recommendations and supporting customer programs through proactive communication and scheduling coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct waterproofing inspections and testing in line with relevant Australian Standards.
  • Ensure testing equipment is calibrated, maintained, and used correctly.
  • Accurately record testing results, defects, and compliance findings.
  • Prepare clear reports including photos, findings, and remediation recommendations.
  • Communicate inspection outcomes professionally with customers and project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate testing schedules and follow up to ensure project hold points and timelines are met.
  • Provide proactive customer updates, reminders, and support throughout project delivery.
  • Record billable hours accurately and support project administration requirements.
  • Assist with customer education, toolbox talks, and technical guidance on waterproofing compliance and remediation practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support service delivery and identify additional work opportunities.
