Description

Summary:

The Payroll Administrator will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and provide support to front line managers with rostering and award compliance. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this part-time position will also work closely with the Human Resources team to improve and streamline onboarding and offboarding processes and to improve the utilisation of the 91±¬ÁÏ payroll and HR systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the SCHADS award and have experience with system implementation and improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with awards and relevant legislation.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure all employee data is up to date.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the design and maintenance of rosters in compliance with the relevant awards
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and relevant legislation in Australia.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experienced in the use of 91±¬ÁÏ
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
