About the positionÌý
Due to an internal promotion, we are currentlyÌýseekingÌýanÌýexperiencedÌýAircraft Maintenance EngineerÌýtoÌýjoin ourÌýBroadmeadow basedÌýteam.ÌýReporting to the Senior Base EngineerÌýand operating within a CASR approved PartÌý145 organisation,ÌýthisÌýrole will be required to carry out maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, assembly and/or testing on the aircraft fleet in a safe and efficient manner and to a high standard.ÌýÌý

ÌýKey Responsibilities of the role include:Ìý
- AssistÌýthe maintenance teamÌýwithÌýmaintenance activities including majorÌýaircraftÌýinspections,ÌýrepairsÌýand overhaulsÌýin accordance withÌýapproved company,ÌýmanufacturerÌýand airworthiness authority manuals.Ìý
- AssistÌýthe maintenance team toÌýconduct hybrid trouble shooting,Ìýaddress recurrent technical problemsÌýand ensure all maintenanceÌýand defect rectification is carried out to the relevant design and quality standards.Ìý
- Complete documentation inÌýan accurateÌýandÌýtimelyÌýmannerÌýin accordance withÌýcompany requirements.Ìý
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders through a commitment to the Service’s values of compassion, unity,ÌýaccountabilityÌýand integrity,ÌýwhilstÌýdemonstratingÌýand promotingÌýa positive and proactive attitude toward safety,ÌýqualityÌýand environmental standardsÌýat all times.Ìý

To be considered for thisÌýrole, you will have:Ìý
- Aircraft Engineer TradeÌýQualification, with minimum of 2Ìýyears experienceÌý
- Demonstrated experience working on AW139ÌýaircraftÌýand/or EMS experience (desirable)Ìý
- Current Australian Drivers LicenceÌýÌý
- Strong verbal and written communication skillsÌý
- IT literate with the ability to effectively utilise Aviation, Safety and MS Office SoftwareÌýÌý
- Strong focus on safety and quality with attention to detailÌýÌý
- Behaviour, culture, and attitude that aligns with Company valuesÌýÌý
- Proven experience working in an EMS / SAR environment will be highly regardedÌý
