EOFY calendar preview

Are you across the upcoming dates for EOFY?

As the end of the financial year approaches, businesses across Australia are gearing up for one of the most admin-heavy periods on the calendar. From reconciling accounts to lodging reports, there’s a lot to tick off before 30 June rolls around.

With the right preparation, EOFY doesn’t have to be overwhelming. You can confidently  close out the 25/26 financial year, stay on the right side of the ATO and set your business up for a strong start to the new financial year.

To make it easier, we’ve pulled together a calendar of key dates covering everything you need to prepare and lodge this financial year, from payroll finalisation to super, BAS deadlines and tax return obligations.

Let’s get your business EOFY-ready.

What’s in this calendar?

EOFY involves more moving parts than most businesses realise and the deadlines don’t all fall on the same day. This calendar maps out the key dates from May through to Juy 2026, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Here’s what’s covered:

  • Payroll and STP: When to reconcile your payroll data, lodge your STP end-of-year finalisation declaration and issue income statements to employees.
  • Superannuation: The final quarterly super contribution deadline, the last date contributions need to be received by funds to be tax-deductible in 2025–26, and everything you need to know about the transition to Payday Super from 1 July 2026.
  • Business Activity Statements (BAS): Monthly and quarterly lodgement and payment deadlines from May through to July, covering both self-lodgers and those using a registered tax or BAS agent.
  • Income tax returns: Due dates for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies, whether you’re lodging yourself or through a registered agent.
  • New financial year obligations: What needs to be in place before your first pay run of 2026–27, including updated tax tables, award rate changes and Payday Super compliance.

If you want the full picture of what you need to do (not just when) download our too. Together, they cover every deadline and every task between now and the next financial year.
