We are currently looking for aÌýSenior Mine Geologist (Open Pit)Ìýbased in Western Australia,we are offering this opportunity on a permanent basis with most opportunities based around an 8:6 roster.Ìý

The role:Ìý
As ourÌýSenior Mine Geologist, you will play aÌýpivotalÌýroleÌýin guiding the Mine Geology team and driving the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality geological outcomes.ÌýÌý
- Leading by example,Ìýyou’llÌýfoster a strong safety culture while mentoring, coaching, and developing the team to achieve both individual and operational success.Ìý
- Demonstrating and coaching mine geology best practiceÌý
- AssistanceÌýwith the generation and formatting of work procedures,ÌýpoliciesÌýand processes.Ìý
- Leading and supporting an effective grade control strategyÌý
- Accurate reporting of grade control and reconciliation dataÌý
- Planning, supervision and optimisation of drill programs and data managementÌý
- Supervising stockpile and ore blend managementÌýÌý
- Working closely with mine planning and operational stakeholders, you willÌýprovideÌýexpert geological guidance to support informed decision making across the mining value chain.ÌýÌý
- Your ability to deliverÌýaccurate,ÌýtimelyÌýgeological information will directly support mine planning, operational performance, and corporate reporting requirements, making you a key contributor to the success of the operation.Ìý

- A strong understanding of a broad range of geological principles,ÌýprocessesÌýand ore deposit types within open pit mining environments.Ìý
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex geological information clearly to a variety of stakeholders.Ìý
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.Ìý
- Proven leadership and people management experience, with a passion for mentoring,ÌýdevelopingÌýand motivating high-performing teams.Ìý
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret geological data and make informed, business-critical decisions.Ìý

You will hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology (or similar) and ideally have a strong background working across gold. You are proficient in industry-leading geological and resource modelling software, includingÌýLeapfrogÌýand/or Vulcan.Ìý
