We are currently looking forÌýaÌýUnderground Mine Geologist,Ìýbased in Western Australia, we are offering this opportunity on a permanent basis with most opportunities based around an 8:6 roster.Ìý

The role:Ìý
- Supporting the safe,ÌýefficientÌýand profitable extraction of ore by delivering high-quality geologicalÌýexpertiseÌýthat underpins operational success.ÌýÌý
- Work closely withÌýclient Geology andÌýoperational teams, collect,ÌýanalyseÌýand interpret geological dataÌýusedÌýto developÌýaccurateÌýgeological modelsÌý
- Use your technicalÌýexpertiseÌýin drilling, geologicalÌýmappingÌýandÌýsamplingÌýtoÌýmake informed, business-critical recommendations that optimiseÌýore recovery, support productionÌýtargetsÌýand contribute to the ongoing success of the operation.Ìý

About you:Ìý
- A solid understanding of geological principles,ÌýprocessesÌýand a range of ore deposit types within a mining environment.Ìý
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of stakeholders.Ìý
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.Ìý
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret geological data and make informed recommendations.Ìý
- The ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.Ìý
- Experience using 3D modelling softwareÌý
- Experience in underground development face mapping and samplingÌý
- GeologicalÌýand grade control logging experienceÌý

You will hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology (or similar) and ideally haveÌý2+ years working in gold operations. You are a motivated and technically capable geologist with a passion for delivering high-quality geological outcomes in a mining environment.ÌýÌý
