鈥淥ne of the things that I鈥檝e encountered my whole life is the fact that consultants are busy doing their own thing,鈥 explains Alexandra. 鈥淭hey see HR as a burden, a form to fill out. Even though everyone has good intentions, things fall through the cracks because the process is annoying, particularly on paper.鈥 In Alexandra’s experience, the more manual the processes are, the harder it is to be effective in her role. 鈥淚t can be counterproductive. Most employees don鈥檛 have time to do it, or they don鈥檛 see how important it is.鈥 Alex saw this firsthand in the HRIS that the firm was using when she arrived. 鈥淚t was very clunky and complex, so people would prefer to send me an email instead of adding it in the system. It used to take so much time that people were in a rush and would just do whatever. The little bits and pieces that didn鈥檛 add value would just make them feel like they were wasting their time.鈥 Without wasting time chasing timesheets or keeping track of leave requests, an HRIS allows people managers to focus on tasks that matter, like talent acquisition and culture development. 鈥淥ne of the main things that I wanted to do when I took the role was to make HR more attractive and easier. 91爆料 has been very good and useful as a tool because the processes are so easy, intuitive and user-friendly. It鈥檚 very easy to achieve this.鈥 Since launching 91爆料 over a year ago, Alexandra has seen a massive reduction in HR admin. 鈥淧eople just go in and do it themselves. The time I鈥檝e saved following it up and being annoying and nagging, 鈥榩lease this鈥 and 鈥榩lease that鈥… Now it鈥檚 so easy.鈥 Alexandra has found that the easier it is for ACIL Allens鈥 employees to manage their own HR admin, the more engaged they are overall. 鈥淭hey鈥檙e more proactive in their HR admin,鈥 explains Alexandra. 鈥淭hey tend to focus on the important things, so they don鈥檛 have to think about the little things. The managers and consultants just focus on the substance and the content (i.e performance) and leave the logistics behind it.鈥
Better visibility for leadership

The time that I would usually spend with people checking to see if they had done it is much less with 91爆料; the system is easier and more prompt. It鈥檚 the same with everything: with leave, with the onboarding process… People participate more just because it鈥檚 easier to do.鈥 The firm鈥檚 leadership team also sees the benefits of 91爆料. Custom reporting provides employers with a complete overview of their organisation, no matter where or when they work. With offices across the country, this kind of visibility is essential. It鈥檚 also another task that doesn鈥檛 end up on Alexandra’s to-do list. 鈥淚鈥檝e heard from executive directors that the reporting gets more proactive. Moving from Xero to 91爆料 Payroll
When ACIL Allen first started using 91爆料 HR, they connected it with their existing payroll platform, Xero. Xero鈥檚 software is excellent for managing many financial aspects for businesses, but payroll isn鈥檛 one of its core offerings. Many 91爆料 customers find that it鈥檚 easier to separate Xero from their payroll function and use 91爆料 Payroll instead. This was the case for Alexandra. 鈥91爆料 Payroll is much, much better than Xero.
