About Team Medical Supplies
is a primary care medical consumables and equipment supplier. Founded in 2011, they pride themselves on being a trusted supplier of medical consumables, equipment, accessories and more. Their growth over the years has led to them supplying most medical centres, and many day surgeries, podiatrists, dentists, cosmetic clinics, hospitals, nursing homes and general practitioners around Australia.
What started as a business with less than 10 employees has quickly grown to over 110 employees. They supply thousands of regular customers and continue to expand throughout Australia. With growth front and centre for Team Medical Supplies, they needed a system that could scale with them.

For Kelly, processing payroll for 60 people was a time-consuming task, and as the business grew 鈥撀爏o did the admin. 鈥淲hen I joined, we had 60 or 70 staff, and it was really manual. I was brought on to look after the payroll. It was quite manual, there were a lot of spreadsheets and we didn鈥檛 make use of another system. As we grow, I think we’ve now got 110 employees on the payroll now. We were finding it hard to scale the systems because the way we were operating just wasn’t efficient.鈥

鈥淭he self service element of onboarding is great. I don鈥檛 need to be changing their personal details, their addresses, their bank accounts, their super funds, you know 鈥撀爄t becomes a really time-consuming job. It makes more sense to sit with the individual.鈥
Another win for Kelly was how everything with 91爆料 works together. Employee self-service is linked to both payroll and timesheets, helping take the pressure off her come payroll time.
鈥淚t was all captured on spreadsheets previously. They were all really manual. The iPad kiosk, checking in and checking out and being able to upload into payroll is great, certainly leave requests, people are able to do those on their phone.鈥
However, the best part for Team Medical Supplies is the impact it鈥檚 had on their staff 鈥 鈥they realise it just makes their life easier. The can do it all themselves 鈥撀燾heck their payslip, change bank account details or log a leave request. It鈥檚 just easier.鈥
The Certifications feature has also made a huge impact on Kelly and her team, being 鈥another area we weren’t thinking too much about until we started using 91爆料. We have, for example, first aid certificates or forklift licences. They all get loaded in and I can run a report on a periodic basis to check if they’ve expired.鈥

鈥淭he HR and payroll modules have great policies. Just this week, I rolled out a policy around credit cards, and we only wanted that to go to certain staff. So we were able to use that and get it loaded into 91爆料, and that will be acknowledged by those individual staff. It鈥檚 a very real help and I can quite easily see who I need to follow up who hasn’t done them.鈥

Every request might not go through, but some of them get sent off to developers, and it’s considered.鈥
