We have an exciting opportunity to joinÌýMr Plant HireÌýas anÌýHGV Driver, delivering and collecting plant machinery, poweredÌýaccessÌýÌýequipmentÌý(MEWPS)Ìýand lifting equipment to customers acrossÌýLondon and the surrounding areas.Ìý
This is a varied,Ìýcustomer‑facingÌýrole whereÌýyou’llÌýbe trusted toÌýrepresentÌýour business and ensure equipment arrives safely, on time and ready for use.Ìý
WhatÌýyou’llÌýbe doingÌý
- Driving HGV vehicles acrossÌýLondon and the SouthÌý(deliveries and collections)Ìý
- Safely loading and unloading equipment, ensuring loads are secure and correctly distributedÌý(strap/secure, load distribution).Ìý
- Delivering and collectingÌýcustomer ordersÌýin aÌýsafe,ÌýtimelyÌýand professional mannerÌýtreating customer sites and property with care and respectÌý
- ProvidingÌýbasic product familiarisationÌýto customers whereÌýrequiredÌý
- Vehicle checks, walkarounds and complianceÌý
- Using handheld devices to complete deliveryÌýpaperwork and checksÌý
WhatÌýwe’reÌýlooking forÌý
- At leastÌý1Ìýyears’ experienceÌýas an HGV DriverÌý
- Full UK driving licence withÌýCategory C or C+EÌýentitlementÌý(Class 2/Class 1)Ìý
- A validÌýDriver CPCÌýand digital tachograph cardÌý
- A calm, professionalÌýapproachÌýand strong customer service skillsÌý
- Ability to work independently and manage your day effectivelyÌý
- Comfortable using handheld devices / basic computer systemsÌý
Desirable (but not essential)Ìý
- Experience loading and unloadingÌýpowered access or plantÌýequipmentÌý
- IPAF load/unload experienceÌý
- IPAFÌý3a, 3b or 1bÌýcertificationÌý
