Location: Kent / East Sussex Field-based (UK-wide travel, primarily leisure parks)
Salary:Ìý£26,000 – £28,000 per annum depending on experience. *Overtime available as per business requirements.
Role PurposeÌý
To deliver high-quality, customer-facing installations of broadband and Wi-Fi services to end users within VFAST-enabled holiday and leisure parks. The role focuses on connectivity, in-unit installations, fault resolution, and ensuring an excellent end-user experience aligned with SLA and brand expectations.Ìý

Key ResponsibilitiesÌý
End User InstallationsÌý
- Install broadband services into park homes, lodges, and static caravans using a mix of:Ìý
- Wireless (PtMPÌý/ WiMAX / LTE/5G CPE)Ìý
- FTTP / Ethernet where availableÌý
- Mount and align external CPE (whereÌýrequired) ensuringÌýoptimalÌýsignal performanceÌý
- Run internal cabling (CAT5e/CAT6/ÌýFibre )Ìýin a neat and compliant mannerÌý
- Install and configure routers, access points, and associated equipmentÌý
- Activate services and complete provisioning checksÌý
Customer ExperienceÌý
- Act as the face of the business on-site, delivering a professional and friendly serviceÌý
- Clearly explain functionality, router setup, and basic troubleshooting to end usersÌý
- Manage customer expectations during installsÌý
- Ensure customer sign-off and satisfaction before leaving siteÌý
Fault Finding & SupportÌý
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across:Ìý
- RF links (signal strength, interference, alignment)Ìý
- LAN/Wi-Fi environmentsÌý
- CPE and router configurationÌý
- Escalate complex faults to Service Desk or engineering teams with clear diagnosticsÌý
- Perform maintenance visits and service restorations within SLA targetsÌý
Health & Safety & ComplianceÌý
- Adhere to all H&S requirements including:Ìý
- Working at height (ladders, external mounting)Ìý
- Electrical safetyÌý
- Safe cable routing and fixingÌý
- Ensure all installations meet company and regulatory standardsÌý
- Maintain tools, PPE, and company vehicle in safe working orderÌý
Documentation & ReportingÌý
- Complete installation records, photos, and test results via job management systemsÌý
- Accurately record materials used and time on siteÌý
- Provide feedback on recurring issues, installation challenges, or product improvementsÌý

- Understanding of telecoms or ISP field installations (wireless or fixed line)Ìý
