Administration Officer

One Ashford Hospital | 16 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated Administration Officer to join our Administration Team in One Ashford Hospital, part of Phoenix Hospital Group. This part-time, permanent role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions across different areas of the Hospital. Reporting to the Administration Manager, The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our organisational goals by providing efficient administrative support and maintaining effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organise patient records and documentation to ensure easy access and retrieval.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinating logistics as necessary.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations by gathering and organising data.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks and maintain financial records.
  • Provide general administrative support to team members as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of GCSEs in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and time management.
